7 Ways to Have More Fun Under the Sun
This article will help us enjoy the presence of the sun in a much safer way. Here are seven ways in which we can all enjoy sun exposure.

1. Try to avoid the sun when the rays are quite stronger. This is during the times between 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. Guess that’s why office work was invented, it helps out a person be tempted to soak under the sun. Also try to avoid the sun when the UV index is high. When the UV index is high the exposure and risk of a person becomes greater. You can check out the UV index on newspapers, TV, radios because the National Weather Service forecasts the UV index daily.
a. Cloudy skies don’t mean you’re safer from the UV radiation. Having cloudy skies only guarantees you 20% protection. The UV radiation you receive will also be more when you are on the beach or in a snow because of the sunlight’s reflect more.

2. Always use sunscreens. Try to get the sunscreens with the highest SPF factors. Also look for other features of the sunscreen. The higher the number of the SPF the longer amount of time you can stay under the sun. There are also sunscreens that are water-proofed to help you when you forget to apply sunscreen after swimming or if you are a sweaty person.
3. A hat is a good protection that can help protect your face. There are hats that can be big enough that is enough to cover the neck, ears, and scalps.
4. Protect your eyes from sun damage by wearing sun glasses. Don’t buy the sunglasses because they’ll make you look cool. Instead buy sunglasses that can be able to protect you from the UVA and UVB rays. After all protecting your eyes from sunlight is the main purpose of sunglasses.
5. If the suns rays are really too extreme on that day don’t go out shirtless. Cover yourself up by wearing loosely fitted, light-weight, long-sleeved shirts, pants, or skirts. Their materials and colors will help them absorb or reflect the UV rays. Wearing wet clothes should be avoided because the UV rays can pass easily through them.
6. Try to be discreet and practice other safety measures when using tanning machines. There are lots of critiques that have been saying there are dangerous stuff that could happen to your skin when a person tans too much under the tanning bed.
7. Try to examine your skin once in a while after taking a bath. Get used to the moles and birthmarks you see. Once you see an unusual growth immediately ask help from an expert to know if it’s something bad.
